On China Aluminum water bottle cages February 4, arrested accused Ganesh Manik Pawar (30) rammed his motorbike into constable Yashwant Manpat Kadam during a routine late night nakabandi on MG Road near Ghatkopar.“The accused was trying to change the lane and saw a rickshaw in front of him. The victim, Shradha Tari (20), a resident of nearby Jai Maharashtra Nagar was returning home from college. I tried to chase him, but he got away. An eyewitness, Ankit Waghela (28) who saw the biker flee the spot and tried to chase him on another bike said, “The girl’s hand got stuck in the back wheel and he must have pressed the accelerator. His brother, who was his accomplice, is still absconding. Ms Tari was rushed to Bhagwati Hospital and was shifted to Nair Hospital in Mumbai Central by her parents.

The Pant Nagar police on Tuesday arrested a 30-year-old car stereo thief for allegedly ramming into a police constable and fracturing his leg in an incident that took place earlier this month. Inquiries revealed that the bike had eight past owners. The accused, who was arrested from Karnataka, has around 40 theft cases registered against him around the city. He dodged it and knocked the girl. Interestingly, Ganesh had been booked for injuring another cop with the Khar police in a similar incident last year.”In a hit-and-run accident, a 20-year-old girl’s wrist and three inches of her left hand was cut off after it got stuck inside the spokes of a Pulsar bike in Borivali (east) on Wednesday afternoon. According to senior police inspector, Bharat Worlikar of Kasturba Marg police station, the unknown accused was riding his black Pulsar bike in the wrong lane.
